About Ana Celeste Ferrari

I love any expresion of beauty. Feriana is my way to put that into an object. I love handbags but I also like to do different things.

I am mostly self-taught. After high school I started 5 different degrees trying to work out what I wanted to do. The time was not at all wasted – I got good things out of all of them. Right now I'm one hundred percent dedicated to my handbags. I have some plans for the future to include clothing design and recycling.

I discovered in a recent trip to the dump station, that I love the idea of designing with recycled materiasl. It is a challenge for designers and an obligation to our enviroment. I believe that creativity is a common quality of every human being. I think the world has become bigger than it's meaning, and many very creative people have been left to think that only artists can be creative. I have met many creative teachers, mothers, cleaners, psychoanalysts. There is a glow in what they do. That, for me, is success – and to find something to be thankful for every day is what brings me happiness.

I am from Argentina and live in Christchurch, New Zealand with my fiancé.
